What type of folks are we looking for? At the moment we’re mostly looking for engineers and developer-types. It’s not that we’ve got anything against the “softer skills”, that’s just not what our customers are looking for right now.

What aren’t we looking for? We don’t really care what certifications you have. The alphabet soup of credentials doesn’t really impress us. We want folks on the team that have real experience delivering real capabilities. We’re working in support of some of our customers’ most critical projects, and we need folks that know what it takes to Deliver!.

What are some signs that you might be a fit? Let’s see, where do we begin…..

  • You run your own server(s), not because you have to but because you actually enjoy it
  • You laugh at xkcd because you actually get the jokes
  • You know where to find your $FAVORITE_BROWSER’s developer tools, and how to use them
  • You listen to the Security Now! podcast and actually understand what Steve Gibson is talking about
  • When you hear the words “Chef” and “Puppet” in the same sentence, you know you’re not talking about dinner and a show
  • You prefer vi over emacs. Or emacs over vi. Whichever floats your boat, you know what the heck we’re talking about here.

Technical Program Manager

We're seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead complex technical programs for our government and commercial clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, schedules, and resource plans
  • Manage program risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders
  • Implement governance practices and reporting mechanisms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
  • 7+ years of technical program management experience
